Could Sports Teams Exercise in Bounce Houses?

Published by:

How fun would it be to see some of Nashville’s most popular sports teams do their exercises for the day in a an inflatable bounce house and obstacle course, rather than in a regular location. I’m sure it might exceed the weight limit by tons however, it would be a hilarious site to see.

Picture it.

Having a couple of inflatable obstacle courses and bounce house rentals lined up on an indoor or outdoor field somewhere. The players come out and only a couple at a time, they follow one another as they go through these obstacle courses and bounce around on the inflatables. Over and over again, one behind the other, going faster each time than they did before.

This may sound like some weird scenario, but it’s really just something we wondered about when discussing sports one day. Maybe the player could get some pretty good exercise while having fun at the same time. Maybe they would enjoy this type of change in their training, well at least for a day. We know their time to train is very limited but again, it would be an interesting thing to see. Heck, even the coaches could get in on the action.

We figure that the biggest problem would probably be the weight limit so only a few of the players could be on the inflatables at one time, which I guess could still work out it just might make things go more slowly. Going faster each time they go through the course could also cause there to be more players on it at one time, and the weight and commotion could cause harm or damage it.

In all reality, players practicing on inflatable bounce houses and going through obstacle courses is pretty crazy, and simply a fun and silly idea to take into consideration. To the average viewer, it’s probably going to sound just plain weird to think something along these lines but you can never go wrong with a little fun and creativity.

Living in and Around Nashville

Published by:

Nashville is officially one of the fastest growing cities in the entire nation, thanks to it’s massive growth in and around the area. With all the new editions and the many great ones we had beforehand, there is more to do now than ever before.

Not only is Nashville home to country music and some of it’s most promising country stars, it’s also the station for our national sports teams such as the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Sounds, Predators, Vols, and more. Locals have the option to visit local sports practices of some of their favorite teams, and attend a variety of sports games that go on year round.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. At the infamous Bridgestone arena, there are a wide variety of concerts and events including Barnum and Bailey’s Circus. And you don’t have to strictly be a country music fan to attend. No matter what type of music you favor whether it’s rap, rock, pop, or hip-hop, there will be a concert near you every month or two. Check out one of the many Nashville websites to see concerts for the rest of the year and their showtimes. But the music doesn’t stop at the arena; the downtown Nashville area is filled with clubs and bars that are always playing music or having music played at them by local musicians. The Piano Bar is a great one that comes to mind.

Centennial Park is another great historical place in the downtown area which is great for families and groups of all shapes and sizes to exercise, hang out, play, and overall have a very relaxing day.

If you’re more into shopping, the central Nashville area is littered with shops for all tastes. If you have been waiting to get yourself a nice pair of country boots or a hat, will should find what you want and more at one of the local shops downtown.

Food buffs everywhere will enjoy some of the finest tastes of food in the region. There are hundreds of restaurants to select from, and you won’t find the big establishments like O-Charley’s and Logans but instead, local tastes that are unique and sure to impress and satisfy.

The views of Nashville are astounding with the many buildings and historical sites that are all around. If you haven’t experienced Nashville already, we highly suggest that you do so. We must warn you however that there can be an overwhelming amount to do, and you will probably need to make more than one visit to take all of it in. Have fun!

Time Saving Tip for Attending Sports Games

Published by:

Sports games in Nashville can attract lots of fans which is good for the team, but bad for the time you have to spend waiting in traffic while trying to leave the parking lots.

No matter what kind of game you are attending in downtown Nashville, you want to prepare yourself at the least to avoid long waiting times in traffic and the extensive hunt for a parking spot that is relatively close to the field or arena you’re going to. This may be out of your control when the game is over since everyone seems to want to leave at once, but you can do it before the game starts however.

Leaving your home early for the game is the best way to avoid lots of parking hassles and larger crowds of people walking into the stadium. The closer it gets to the game starting, the more people seem to begin flooding in. Therefore, arriving the stadium the game you’re attending is at, is a sure fire way to avoid getting stuck in a big mess.

It may sound rather inconvenient to leave early for a game but if you want to take it easy while mostly everyone else is busy being tied up in a crowd, it’s the best option. But just how early should you leave?

How close you live to the Nashville area is one of the bigger factors to consider when knowing how early you should leave for the game. If you live 30 minutes away, you may want to leave anywhere from 15-30 minutes early but again, this is all up to you.

Keep in mind that no matter how early you leave there will still be fans like yourself that are doing the same thing, and getting their too early can cause longer waiting times until the game starts. To each his own.
